Collierville’s Hilary Shikuku was a runaway winner for the Daily Memphian girls player of the week with 58% of the fan votes. She scored 13 points on Feb. 25 as the Dragons defeated Central, 58-45, in the quarterfinals of the Region 8-AAAA tournament.

Arlington’s Brittani Wells came in second, followed by White Station’s Sihirah Reese, Marihya Hart of Memphis Business Academy and Erica Niyimpayne of Mitchell.

Shikuku joins an elite list of the top players in the Memphis area to receive the recognition this year:
