It was evident early at West Collierville Middle School that the Lady Dragons basketball program is in good hands for the foreseeable future. Talent was on display from both teams in a game that featured three-pointers and pull-up jumpers you would likely see in a high school varsity game. The Lady Dragons from West Collierville were able to find a few extra buckets and defeated the Lady Dragons from CMS 50-36.
In the boys' game, WCMS got off to a hot start and cruised to a 37-20 victory. After a sluggish start, CMS continued to battle and played a strong second half.
West Collierville Middle will be back in action Thursday when they travel to Lakeland. Collierville Middle will play next Monday, at home, versus Arlington.
