Saturday's sweet sixteen game for the West Collierville girls basketball team couldn't have gotten off to a better start. The Lady Dragons had a tremendous defensive effort against a talented Brighton Cardinals team that led to a 7-0 lead after the 1st quarter. The team never looked back en route to a 36-15 victory that gives them an opportunity to play for a final four spot, Monday, and a berth to the TMSAA State Tournament. Monday's game will be another tough challenge as the Lady Dragons take on Houston Middle. Tip-off is set for 6pm at American Way Middle School.
