The West Collierville Middle School girls’ golf team capped off an impressive 2026 season with a 6th-place finish at the TMSGA/TSSAA State Championships, held Tuesday at Harpeth Hills Golf Course in Nashville.

Leading the way for the Lady Dragons was Hailey Howell (Class of 2031), who turned in a strong individual performance. Howell finished 19th overall, earning a Top 20 placement with a score of +25 against a competitive state field.

The team is coached by Rebecca Secrist, who continues to elevate the program and was recently honored as the West Tennessee Sectional Coach of the Year.

With the state championship appearance in the books, the Lady Dragons close out the 2026 season with momentum. All three golfers from the girls team return next season.
